PROSPER Runcit  offers the following :

1. SYARIAH BASED BUSINESS FUNDING 
a) Package A - Financing amount from RM70,000 to  the maximum RM200,000

i. Business Financing
This package offers financing based on the principle of  Qard Al-Hassan, whereby the borrower must pay back the loan's principal amount through a fixed instalment schedule. In this package, the entrepreneur needs to contribute at least 10% of the total project cost  while PUNB provides  financing  up to 90% subject to the maximum amount of  RM200,000.

ii. Business Services
Apart from financing,  this package comes intact with business services for pre-business operations, monitoring of accounts and business advice. The entrepreneur will be charged an affordable fee for these services.

b) Package B - Financing amount from RM200,001 to RM1,000,000

i. Business Financing
Under this package,  the entrepreneur is eligible for  financing amount  up to the maximum of RM 1 million though Musyarakah Mutanaqisah (equity injection), Bai Al Inah (BAI), Bai Bithaman Ajil (BBA) and/or any financing instrument depending on the requirement of the proposed business.( The company's structure must be Sendirian Berhad  with an exception to petrol station business)

For this package, if  the entrepreneur can only contribute 10% as the start-up capital, PUNB will contribute another 10% to make the  total equity  of the company to at least 20% of the project cost. The remaining amount will be financed by PUNB  through BAI or BBA or other financing instruments deemed suitable.

However in cases, where the entrepreneur contributes 20% for  the start-up capital, PUNB will finance the balance 80%  of the total project cost using  BAI or BBA or other suitable financing instruments.

SCOPE OF BUSINESS
PROSPER Runcit is open to all types of viable and sensible retail business ideas. The following list gives a good idea of all the types of retail business  that we are able to provide business opportunities. They are :

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Entrepreneur

• Bumiputera.
• Age 18 years and above.
• Possesses strong entrepreneurial characteristics such as honesty, confidence, resilience, positive mental atitude, creativity and high level of self-discipline.
• Willing to attend courses that have been identified
• Favourable records with financial institutions
• Willing to work full time
• Must be able to finance at least 10% of the total project cost.

Business

• Retail business.
• The business is 100% owned by Bumiputera
• Viable business with  project cost not exceeding RM1.0 million.   
• The business must be free of financial assistance from any  financial institutions that took any form of  security in form of charge  on tthe company's asset.
• The business location  has been  identified.
