PUNB offers an integrated entrepreneurial development package designed to assist and facilitate the participation of Bumiputera entrepreneurs in the SME sector.

Our objective is to develop resilient Bumiputera enterprises that are market-oriented and globally competitive in their business approach. Emphasis is given to enterprises with high growth and export potential, in manufacturing and selected services.

These enterprises are important vehicles in the creation of Bumiputera Commercial and Industrial Community (BCIC).

Assistance with Funding & Duration of the Package  

PUNB provides funds to help Bumiputera enterprises set up and grow their businesses in areas related to product, market and operation.

Funds are provided to an enterprise through equity capital injection and/or provision of credit facilities based on Syariah principles.

The types of funding given, are structured to manage the financial risk inherent in new and growing enterprises; and emphasise long-term capital growth rather than short term gains.   

PUNB takes a maximum five-year outlook on SME. Beyond this period, a business is expected to have matured and become independent. The success of the enterprise is judged by its ability to command a fair market share and acquire other commercial funding.
